The Culver Group started in 1987 as a Sole Proprietorship when Welch Allyn launched its Data Collection Division, specializing in barcode scanning and decoding equipment, The Culver Group accepted responsibility to build sales in the government market place by selling direct as a VAR and/or to Prime Integrators as a Sales Rep. The Culver Group became a Limited Liability Corporation in 1996 and is a brick and mortar business now operates from a suite of offices located in Carroll County Maryland, where we have quick access to Baltimore/Washington and Northern Virginia corridors.
As our business has grown, we have recognized the need to provide our customers with product packages that are not offered by any one manufacturer or distributor. Customers do not need to be burdened with the requirement to buy several different line items from multiple sources in order to get everything needed to install or expand a barcode system. We now offer Plug and Play Kits that enable our customers single source supply of products configured and packaged with all necessary accessories and documentation so they are shipped ready for immediate deployment, installation and use.
While our primary focus has always been to help our supplier partners sell to government agencies, our experience and growth have led us to expand our market objectives to include Healthcare and Commercial Users. We provide those customers with the same quality products and service that we provide our government accounts.

We offer open market bids and unsolicited proposals to many Government Users and secure IDIQ/BPA contracts and specific contract awards directly from them. We support GSA Schedules, BPA/GWAC contracts, and agency specific contracts carried by IT Integrators; TCG acts as a sub-contractor and supply partner to those integrators. We translate and assure compliance with the requirements and restrictions defined by the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) as they apply to government purchases.
